A rede de joalherias Michael Hill viu suas vendas aumentaram durante o per\u00edodo de f\u00e9rias, impulsionadas por uma mudan\u00e7a na estrat\u00e9gia de marketing, segundo anunciou. &#8220;Uma abordagem diferenciada em novoss eventos e atividades promocionais resultaram em um aumento nas vendas durante os nossos dois meses mais movimentados&#8221;, disse o CEO da rede de joias, Daniel Bracken. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De acordo com os resultados divulgados pela empresa, as vendas nas lojas abertas h\u00e1 pelo menos um ano aumentaram 1,3% ano a ano durante o per\u00edodo de novembro a dezembro, mas diminu\u00edram 2,9% no segundo trimestre fiscal geral. Embora as vendas ca\u00edram, o desempenho melhorou significativamente em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com o primeiro trimestre, que teve uma queda de 11%. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mas o motivo ficou claro. O varejista subestimou a quantidade de investimentos em Marketing que precisava para sua mudan\u00e7a estrat\u00e9gica em rela\u00e7\u00e3o aos descontos, levando a um decl\u00ednio acentuado nos n\u00fameros do \u00faltimo trimestre. Nos tr\u00eas meses encerrados em 31 de dezembro, ele fez uma s\u00e9rie de mudan\u00e7as em suas atividades de marketing e promo\u00e7\u00f5es de eventos, resultando em um desempenho mais forte. \u201dUma abordagem refinada do nosso evento e atividades promocionais resultou em um aumento nas vendas durante os nossos dois meses mais movimentados&#8221;, diz Bracken. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A varejista Michael Hill fechou tr\u00eas lojas no primeiro semestre e abriu outras seis, totalizando 309 lojas. A empresa tamb\u00e9m fechou quatro filiais da Emma &amp; Roe, deixando duas lojas ainda em opera\u00e7\u00e3o. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A empresa est\u00e1 implementando uma estrat\u00e9gia para se tornar uma l\u00edder globalmente relevante na categoria de joias premium.
